Bernette B33 Tutorial - Making a Buttonhole to Measure

In this video tutorial, youll learn how to easily sew buttonholes using the Bernette B33 sewing machine. Start by marking the buttonhole length on your fabric (about 2mm larger than the button diameter). Then, attach a slider buttonhole foot and set the stitch selector dial to setting 1. Set the stitch length dial to the buttonhole symbol in the center. Now sew the first buttonhole, and as you sew, select the appropriate levels on the stitch selector dial for each section of the buttonhole, as instructed in the video. Once youre finished, sew a few securing stitches, then insert pins at each end of the buttonhole to avoid cut stitches. Check the buttonhole size and adjust the stitch density if necessary. Once everything is set correctly, you can sew the remaining buttonholes.
