Bernette B37 and B38 Tutorial - Sewing on a Button

The Right Button for Every Buttonhole: Its very easy to sew buttons on with a b38 or b37 sewing machine, and in this video tutorial, well show you how. First, select a zigzag stitch and reduce your sewing speed. In your accessory box, youll find a T-button sewing foot, which youll now attach to your Bernette sewing machine. Lower the feed dogs and lower the needle using the handwheel into the left holes of the button. After lowering the foot, sew three stitches and stop. Now check with the handwheel whether the needle fits in the right hole or whether you need to adjust the stitch width. Then sew a few stitches using the foot pedal. Finally, simply press the "Automatic Stitch Stop" button and you can raise the feed dogs again: your sewn-on button is ready!
