Gathering fabrics using the #L24/C24 gathering feet on BERNINA overlockers/covers

In this video, we show you how to use the gathering feet for BERNINA L 8 series overlockers. With the L24 and C24 presser feet, you can quickly and easily gather fabric using the overlock, chainstitch, or coverstitch stitch. Gathering is achieved using the differential feed setting of 2 and the maximum stitch length for optimal results. Unique, decorative effects can be created not only with the 4-thread overlock stitch but also with the chainstitch or coverstitch. Gathering is simple, allowing you to quickly create decorative gathers that can be used on a variety of projects, such as blouses, ruffles, or gathered sleeves. The L24 gathering foot is designed for the L 850 and L 860 overlock machines, while the C24 gathering foot is compatible with the L 890 combo machine.
