For the Chenilla effect

For the series of Husqvarna 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 machines

It allows you to make decorations with a chenilla effect. Suitable for both beginners and advanced sewers.

1.Slide the top and bobbin threads on the machine.

2.Use at least 3 layers of 16mm chenilla strips. Place the straps in the foot. (Narrower strips, 10 mm wide, can also be used.)

3. Attach the chenilla foot.

4. Place the fabric to be decorated under the presser foot and the chenila stripes.

5. Select a straight, zigzag or 3-step zigzag stitch. Choose a low stitch length and a width of approx. 1.5 - 2.0.

6. Sew slowly. The presser foot guides the chenilla stripes along the fabric, in places where we want to obtain the chenilla effect. For added stability, a stabilizer should be used in these areas.

7. Sew on any number of stripes and rows.

8. Wash the design in a washing machine at low temperature and dry it. An alternative method is to spray the design with water, rub the sewn strips with a brush to draw the fibers, and then blow-dry with a hair dryer.
