Bernette 38 is the top model of the bernette 30 series. This computer sewing machine offers a wide range of functions and perfect stitch quality. It offers 394 different stitches, including stretch stitches for stretch fabrics. This means you can, for example, create fantastic jersey T-shirts. The Bernette 38 also has eight different automatic buttonholes and three alphabets. In addition, it has a memory function that allows you to store various combinations of patterns. The Bernette 38 has a handy speed regulator that can be adjusted on the display. As a top model, this impressive sewing machine also features a bright LED sewing light, threader, and both automatic and manual thread trimmers. The Bernette 38 machine is standardly equipped with eight different presser feet and a large table that enlarges the work area.

394 stitch programs to choose from
The machine has 394 stitch programs, including overlock stitches, elastic stitches and blind stitches , thanks to which we can sew or hem the fabric invisibly from the right side (no threads visible). We also have 67 embroidery stitches to beautifully finish the project, 25 specialized quilting stitches and 2 darning programs. The set also includes 3 alphabets with which we can create words or inscriptions.

Operation without speed controller
Bernette 38 can work without using a speed controller. We only use the START/STOP button and the "slider" on the housing to adjust the operating speed.
Adjusting stitch parameters
Bernette 38 has a smooth adjustment of the stitch length - up to 5 mm and width - up to 7 mm.
3 Alphabets for embroidery
The machine includes 3 letter fonts to create words or sentences. We can compose letters and save them in the memory level.
Automatic stitch tying
The Bernette 38 machine has an automatic machine that protects the stitches against unraveling.
Dropped teeth
Bernette 38 has lowerable teeth, so we can, for example, embroider with manual material guidance.
Sewing with a double needle
We can use a double needle with various spacings of 2.5 - 6.0 mm for sewing. This way we will obtain a two-needle straight stitch.
Free arm
Thanks to the narrow (free) arm, we can easily repair narrow clothing items: sleeves, trouser legs or items of children's clothing.
High sewing speed
The Bernette 38 sewing machine sews at a speed of 820 stitches/minute.
Large space under the foot
Large space under the presser foot allows sewing thicker materials. We have no problem sewing multiple layers. It is very convenient. It is also easier to sew leather or denim.
Snap-on foot attachment
Allows for easy replacement of presser feet. Press the button and the presser foot falls onto the fabric. Then we place a new one and lower the presser foot lever. The automatic "latch" will occur and the presser foot is ready for use.
A convenient knife for cutting thread
The housing includes a convenient thread cutter. We don't have to use scissors.
Sewing backwards
The machine has a reverse sewing function. At the beginning and end of the stitch, press the "reverse sewing" button for a few seconds and tie the stitch, protecting it from unraveling.
Full force of needle insertion
The electronically controlled speed regulator guarantees constant and full needle insertion force, regardless of the speed at which we sew.
Simple stitch selection
Quick and easy selection of 394 stitches using the electronic panel. We have utility stitches, embroidery and 3 alphabets at our disposal.
