Combo device - sews and embroiders
The Bernette Chicago 7 is a Bernette combo machine that can sew and embroider . It meets all your creative aspirations and is characterized by a solid construction and attractive appearance. It is equipped with a convenient touch panel with a stylus. It has over 200 stitches to choose from in the sewing part. Automatically sews 10 buttonholes to the size of a button. Bernette Chicago 7 is equipped with a number of useful functions. The Start/Stop function allows you to work without a speed regulator, and the stitch binding function will protect the stitch against unraveling. There is also an automatic thread cutting machine after the stitch is finished and a needle positioning machine. The machine has an advanced needle threading machine. The second part is embroidery on the hoop. The size of the embroideries is 170 x 110 mm . The set includes 100 embroideries with different themes to embroider. We can also embroider our own patterns, which we import easily via the USB port from the memory key. The instructions for the machine and program are in English.

The machine is equipped with 100 stitches. The set includes utility, satin, traditional, quilting and fabric finishing stitches. We can also use beautiful decorative stitches and special stitches. Selecting a specific stitch is done using the buttons.

The machine is equipped with an alphabet. We can embroider letters, words, entire sentences. We personalize our works and sign children's belongings. We write down letters to create inscriptions.

Up/down needle stop position selection button. A very convenient function that allows you to continue sewing after reaching, for example, a corner. We keep the needle inserted into the fabric. We turn the fabric and continue sewing in the other direction.
Automatic buttonhole sewing
Bernette Chicago 7 makes 10 types of buttonholes automatically to the size of the button and 1 "hole".
Needle positioning
Needle positioning is a useful feature that allows you to sew precisely in difficult places. Particularly useful when sewing zippers or hemming with tape.
FIX function
The FIX function automatically binds the threads at the end of the stitch and protects against unraveling. Just turn it on with a button. The activated function remembers to tie the threads.
Possibility to turn off the teeth
You can turn off (lower) the teeth to sew with other techniques. Particularly useful for embroidery or quilting with manual material guidance.
Sewing with a double needle
We can use a double needle with various spacings of 2.5 - 6.0 mm for sewing. This way we will obtain a two-needle straight stitch. The machine also has protection against inserting the wrong double needle.
STOP function
We can stop the machine at any time.

Automatic thread tension

Convenient, snap-in attachment of the feet
Allows for easy replacement of presser feet . We press the button and the presser foot falls onto the fabric. Then we place a new presser foot and lower the lever. "Click" and the foot is ready for sewing.
A convenient knife for cutting thread
