The 3-5-7-9 Groove Biz Feet are versatile feet for sewing attractive biz in combination with a 4mm twin needle. They are also ideal for mini-biz sewing, as well as for elastic gathering and tying braids and trims. The #30 3-groove biz foot is used when working with thick, heavy fabrics such as denim, suit linen or home furnishings. The #30 3-groove biz foot allows even stitches, neat parallel pleats. The 5-groove biz foot #31 is specially suited for biz sewing on medium weight fabrics. For biz sewing, you need a twin needle with a width between the two needles corresponding to the width of the grooves on the presser foot (up to 3 mm). The 7-groove biz foot #32 is the specialist for sewing particularly fine biz on light to medium fabrics with a twin needle. The typical pin shape is produced by a bobbin thread that joins two lines of stitching together during sewing. We use a twin needle with a gauge of 2 mm. The 9-groove biz foot #33 is particularly suitable for lightweight materials such as cambric. When sewing biz, it is used with a 1.6mm wide twin needle. The grooves in the foot make it easy to sew perfectly parallel cuts. Finished cuts give the fabric a lovely texture, and can also be embellished with decorative stitching - allowing you to create attractive clothes and home furnishings. The 9-groove biz foot #33 is also ideal for gathering, entredeux or fagotting.
