The BERNINA rotary-pendulum hook uniquely combines the advantages of the two best technologies. The new BERNINA B9 hook has an innovative, centrally located drive that enables very quiet and smooth operation. Two oscillating cams ensure a smooth thread passage and extremely quiet operation at speeds up to 1000 stitches per minute and a stitch width of up to 9 mm. The entire hook is milled from a single piece of material, then hand-sanded. Made of indestructible material, the BERNINA spool has 70% more thread capacity than standard spools. This means more sewing and fewer interruptions.
