Thanks to its special mechanism, embroidery foot No. 15 is ideal for darning and free-form embroidery with or without the BERNINA embroidery unit. The vertical spring on the presser foot presses the presser foot against the fabric, preventing the needle from pulling the fabric (flagging). The result is a neat, consistent stitch pattern. What's more, this oval foot has a slight upward tilt that makes it easy to sew even on thick fabrics.
