Cord inserts are a precision accessory that opens up new possibilities in decorative quilting and fabric embellishment. They easily insert yarn, cords, and wool or felt threads —both thin and thick—for a unique, three-dimensional effect. They're ideal for creating original decorative patterns, frames, and three-dimensional details.

Designed specifically for the #72 quilting foot , these inserts attach to the underside of the foot. They can be used with a quilting ruler or freehand quilting, allowing you to maintain complete control over cord positioning. The use of high-quality materials makes the inserts exceptionally durable, resistant to wear, and effectively protects the surface when quilting, even with yarns and cords with metallic thread.

The set includes three inserts with different hole diameters:

• 1x Cord insert, Ø 1.4 mm – for thin cords
• 1x Cord insert, Ø 1.8 mm – for medium cords
• 1x Cord insert, Ø 2.2 mm – for thick cords

The set does not include a foot!

Important: The inserts extend the presser foot by approximately 3.5 mm . To avoid interference with the needle plate, adjust the presser foot height to the minimum (from 4 mm to 0 mm) using the dial before attaching the presser foot.
