Thin embroidery hydrofoil 20μm smooth

Thin hydrofoil is designed for embroidery on fabrics with hair, fluffy fabrics, fur or fabrics with irregular and uneven texture. It is especially recommended for embroidery on towels, fleece, blankets, etc. A piece of hydrofoil, slightly larger than the size of the target pattern, is placed on the fabric in the place of embroidery. This piece of hydrofoil is a barrier preventing the embroidery from "drowning" in our fabric. After removing it from the hoop, the excess hydrofoil is torn out of the fabric and its remnants are dissolved with lukewarm water. The embroidery remains nicely exposed.

Hydrofoil is smooth (not knurled) and designed specifically for computer embroidery.

Thin hydrofoil for embroidery is also useful when embroidering on very loosely weaved or very thin materials, as it provides additional reinforcement for the embroidery and material.

Hydrofoil is also available in a reinforced version with a thickness of 80μm. It is then applied underneath the material and pinned in a hoop. It allows for proper stabilization of the material during embroidery. After it is dissolved, the embroidery on both sides of the material (left and right side) looks the same. This works well, for example, when embroidering towels.
