The CM-A3-RC mat with dimensions of 45 x 30 cm corresponds to the popular A4 format and is relatively small, which allows for precise cutting of small elements. On the surface of the mat there are auxiliary lines and the most popular angles: 30°, 45°, 60°, 90°. The mat is double-sided, with a scale in centimeters on one side and inches on the other. This model of the mat is more durable, because it has twice the cutting surface than one-sided mats. Self-healing mats, so called due to the special properties of the top layer that will seal after cutting, are intended for cutting with circular knives, precision scalpels, compasses and segment knives. The mat is 2 mm thick and consists of three layers, of which the middle one is rigid and protects against cuts through, and the top layers are intended for cutting. To extend the life of the mat, it is worth following a few simple rules. First of all, it must not be rolled or bent, as this may cause irreversible damage. The mat should be stored flat, away from heat sources, and should not be ironed. Only a damp cloth should be used to clean the mat, while strong agents containing alcohol or solvents may distort the printed lines on the surface of the mat. Please note that the mat should not be used with the OLFA MC-45 and MC45/DX cutters, which cut at an angle.
