ATTENTION! - the foot does not fit old-type machine models with a high Singer/Łucznik presser foot holder, class 400/700.

The gathering foot gathers the fabric or both gathers and joins the gathered fabric to a straight piece. Suitable for thin and medium thickness materials.

We use a straight stitch with a length of 3-6, with the needle in the left position. The longer the stitch, the more the fabric will gather.

1. Attach the gathering foot.

2. Gathering : Place the fabric under the presser foot and sew. For a tighter gather, you can increase the tension of the upper thread.

3. Gathering and stitching in one operation:

-Place the fabric to be gathered under the presser foot, right side up.

-Place the fabric to which the gathered ruffle is to be sewn in the groove of the presser foot, right side down.
