Foot for making overlaps every 1, 6, 12 needle stitches.

1.Set the machine for straight stitch only.

2.If necessary, reduce the foot pressure.

3.The adjustment lever determines how often the foot will overlap. Set to 1 for overlap for each stitch, 6 for overlap every 6th stitch and 12 for overlap every 12th stitch. Set to 0 for no overlap.

The adjustment screw determines the degree of filling of the ruffles. Turn the screw clockwise to get more, and counterclockwise to reduce the filling of the fabric in the crease. Try it on scraps of the fabric you are sewing.

Set the stitch length to 2.5-3. Experiment with other length settings, as the stitch length will also affect the fullness of the crease. The shorter the stitch, the shorter the distance between overlaps.
