Quick-to-install and remove stitch guides for overlock, ladder and chain stitches.
The "right" stitch guide is used only for ladder and chain stitches. It allows you to maintain parallel spacing between stitch lines or from the fabric edge to the right of the presser foot.
The "left" stitch guide is used when sewing overlock, combination, and chainstitch stitches. It allows you to evenly space stitches while maintaining parallel spacing. It can also be used as a guide for sewing fabric strips or ribbons evenly. It also works well as an edge guide, maintaining an equal distance from the left side of the presser foot.
Note: For L 890 overlock models manufactured before July 2021 (nameplate code 61/07), an updated version of the presser foot pin must be fitted to accept this stitch guide. If you have this type of overlocker, please contact us before purchasing.
