Thick embroidery hydrofoil - reinforced 80μm smooth

Thick hydrofoil is perfect for embroidering towels or cloths , where you want the embroidery to be beautifully exposed on both sides and free from traces of stabilizer. It is also used for lace embroidery, 3D embroidery, and for producing embroidered jewelry (earrings, bracelets). In this case, the embroidery is done directly on thick hydrofoil. It can also be used for the production of patches , which, thanks to the hydrofoil, can have attractive and durable edges secured, for example, with a satin stitch. Reinforced hydrofoil is also excellent for embroidering on delicate fabrics that can be easily damaged during embroidery or when torn from regular interfacing. It is also frequently used for embroidering lace (collars, cuffs, etc.) and for Richelieu and English embroidery . Its wide range of applications makes thick hydrofoil one of the most popular embroidery stabilizers.

Thick hydrofoil is hooped together with the fabric placed on top. Alternatively, you can hoop the hydrofoil itself and adhere the fabric to it with a temporary spray adhesive, or embroider directly on the hydrofoil (for lace, 3D, Richelieu embroidery).

Hydrofoil is also available in a "thin" version, just 20μm thick. It's applied to the top of the embroidered fabric to prevent the embroidery from "sinking" into the fabric.
