Chroma is the leading software from the American company Ricoma for digitizing and designing embroidery. "AutoDigitizing"

This tool guides you through steps for automatic digitization of any bitmap image. Acceptable files are: .jpg, .bmp, .tif, .gif, .png. Most importantly, the machine also uses vector files: Adobe Illustrator .ai, Scalable Vector Graphic .svc or Windows Metafiles .emf and .wmf.

"Digitizing" function

We use manual digitizing tools with Bezier curves or other: simple drawing , from a free hand. We create outlines (strokes) filled with stitches.

"Underlay" function

We program the backing before embroidering. This option strengthens the fabric and embroidery. In the Underlay tab, you can select different types of underlays for compound fills and satin.

"Pull compensation" function

Occasionally, when embroidering the outline of the pattern, it does not match the fill of the embroidery. At the same time, it turns out that on some materials the embroidery looks good and the problem concerns only some materials. With this function, we can extend the embroidery fill so that the border is perfectly on the edge of the fill.

Function "Complex Fill with holes"

This is a fill function that adjusts the angle of the stitch and takes account of empty spaces (holes).
