Automatic buttonhole sewing

The Veritas Carmen sewing machine features an automatic buttonhole mechanism that can create 10 different buttonholes. Simply place the button in the presser foot, and the machine will sew the buttonhole without rotating the fabric. The result is perfect, with each subsequent buttonhole being perfectly repeatable.

Automatic needle threader

The sewing machine has an automatic needle threader that's simple and convenient to use. It's very useful; after all, you don't have to reach for your glasses!

START/STOP function

This function allows the machine to operate without using the speed controller. Using the Start/Stop buttons, you can begin and end sewing.

Needle positioning

Needle positioning is a useful feature that allows for precise sewing in difficult places. It's especially useful when sewing zippers or binding with tape.

FIX function

The FIX function automatically ties the threads at the end of the stitch and prevents unraveling. Simply press the button to activate it. Once activated, the function remembers to tie the threads.

Positioning the needle in the UP/DOWN position

Needle stop up/down button. A very convenient function that allows you to continue sewing after reaching a corner, for example. Stops the needle in the fabric. Turn the fabric and continue sewing in the other direction.

Back sewing

The machine has a continuous reverse sewing function.

LED lighting

The machine is equipped with LED lighting. Energy-saving and backed by a lifetime warranty, the monochromatic light is similar to natural light. It casts no shadows and is easy on the eyes!

Adjusting the stitch length and width

Smooth stitch length and width adjustment. Maximum stitch length is 4.5 mm, stitch width is 7 mm.

Full force of needle insertion

The electronically controlled speed regulator guarantees constant and full needle insertion force regardless of the sewing speed.

Automatic STOP after the bobbin is full

The machine stops automatically when the bobbin is full.

Double needle sewing

We can use a twin needle with various gauges, from 2.5 to 4.0 mm, to create a straight, two-needle stitch.

Free arm

Thanks to the narrow arm, we can easily repair narrow clothing items: sleeves, trouser legs, or children's clothing.

Large space under the foot

The large space under the presser foot allows for sewing thick and heavy materials. It's also very comfortable. Sewing multiple layers of fabric is no problem. It's also easier to sew leather or denim.

Snap-on foot attachment

It allows for easy presser foot changes. Press the button, and the presser foot drops onto the fabric. Then, place the new presser foot under the foot and lower the lever. A "click" and the presser foot is ready to sew.

Convenient thread cutter

The casing includes a convenient thread cutter, eliminating the need for scissors.

Possibility to turn off the teeth

The feed dogs can be turned off (lowered) to allow for other sewing techniques. This is especially useful for embroidery or quilting with hand-feeding.
