The foot has an adjustment allowing for precise determination of the amount of material "caught" by the blind stitch.

1.Attach the presser foot.

2.Fold the fabric as shown and iron the hem.

3.Place the hem under the presser foot and turn the orange foot knob clockwise. or left, setting the presser foot so that the zigzag of the blind stitch "catches" only single threads of the fabric.
