The machine offers 19 essential utility and decorative stitches, ideal for home alterations and creative projects. You'll find straight, zigzag, and blind stitches, which allow you to hem or hem fabric invisibly from the right side (no threads visible), as well as overlock stitches for neatly finishing edges. Special stitches for stretch fabrics work with the fabric and won't cause it to pucker or crack when stretched (e.g., in sportswear, underwear, or children's clothing). Just remember to use the right threads and needles for knits. Embroidery and decorative stitches are also unique, allowing you to embellish clothing, accessories, pillows, curtains, or DIY projects, giving them a unique character.

Solid, durable construction

Semi-automatic buttonhole sewing

Automatic needle threader

The sewing machine has an automatic needle threader that's simple and easy to use. LED lighting

The machine is equipped with LED lighting. Energy savings and high durability make it ideal for everyday sewing. Double needle sewing

We can use a double needle with various gauges, from 2.5 to 6.0 mm, to create a straight, two-needle stitch, which is perfect for aesthetically finishing blouse hems and pant legs, decorative stitching, and faux coverlock on knit fabrics (with the right thread selection and settings). It's a simple way to give your projects a more "shop-quality" finish.

Free arm

Thanks to the narrow (free) arm, we can easily mend and hem narrow garments: sleeves, pant legs, or children's clothing. The free arm also facilitates circular sewing, such as cuffs, pajama legs, hats, or small bags and accessories.

Needle positioning on the Redstar R10S machine

Needle positioning is a useful feature that allows for precise sewing in difficult areas and precise stopping at the right point. It's especially useful for sewing zippers, binding with tape, sewing corners, quilting, and working on thick seams where complete control over the fabric is essential.

Large space under the foot

The large space under the presser foot allows for sewing thicker materials and multiple layers without "blocking" the feed. This is very convenient for sewing denim, upholstery fabrics, coats, bags, as well as for sewing appliqués or areas with many pleats. It also makes sewing leather (with the appropriate needle and presser foot) and thicker construction stitching easier.

Snap-on foot attachment

It allows for quick and easy presser foot changes without tools. Press the button, the presser foot drops onto the fabric, then place the new presser foot under the fabric and lower the lever. A click, and the presser foot is ready to sew. This is a practical solution when you frequently change techniques—for example, from straight sewing to zipper insertion or buttonhole sewing.

Convenient thread cutter

The casing includes a convenient thread cutter, eliminating the need for scissors. This speeds up work and helps keep your workspace tidy, especially when sewing in batches or making many short stitches.

Back sewing

The machine has a reverse sewing function. At the beginning and end of a stitch, press the "reverse sewing" button for a few seconds and tie the stitch, securing it against unraveling. This is crucial for items subject to stress, such as side seams, pockets, bag handles, or workwear.

Full force of needle insertion

The electronically controlled speed controller guarantees constant and full needle penetration, regardless of sewing speed. This allows the machine to penetrate difficult areas efficiently and maintain consistent stitch quality, even during slow sewing when maximum precision is required (e.g., for zippers, trims, and curved sewing).
